My Personalized Great Commission

While in Dallas a few weeks ago, we were each encouraged to study the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. To make Jesus’ command more real to each of us, we were asked to formulate our own personalized Great Commission.

This is what I came up with:

Through the power and anointing of Jesus Christ, by God himself, I am commissioned to die to myself and incarnate Jesus to everyone I come in contact with, sharing and bringing the words of God to life through my life, teaching both grace and truth in humility through the Spirit of God Christ promised, always having faith that God will be with me always even to the very end.
